Peru… My Andean Adventure

Here I am, back in the reality we call USA. My 11 day pilgrimage to Peru proved to be enlightening and a bit of a physical challenge. If ever you visit the Andes mountains, remember that the oxygen levels are not the same everywhere. I believe the ancient peoples had legs & lungs of steel!*LAUGHS* Ahhh… the Peruvian people prove that living off the land, in harmony with nature can still be done. I would love to go live with a family in the Urubamba River Valley for a month to see what it is truly like to live it. Alpaca fur is a very popular textile, especially the baby’s fur is super soft. I hear the meat is good, but I couldn’t eat it, their face is too cute!

My 11 days were jam packed with ancient sites, ritual experiences and cultural collaberations. My love of adventure & of new and different experiences was thoroughly quenched for the moment. My dear friends who set up this trip I am forever grateful to. Thank You for such a wonderful experience!

Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius. Quiet, yet powerful.

This full moon brought me an unexpecting trip out of the house over to my Aunt Sallys’ new home. One that I was so grateful for, to reconnect with her, as I haven’t seen her in a while and we always get along famously. I left with a super good feeling and arms filled with a huge aloe plant(healing), jade clippings (luck & prosperity) and chocolate basil (abundance)… plus more! The whole night moved like some fun dream, the night sky was fairly clear letting the full moon show off her brilliant glow while the star Sirius shines ever so brightly.

I am truly excited for what gifts and blessings the Universe has in store for me! I can’t wait to share them with everyone I can. Not sure exactly what I’m talking about *laughs* But that’s the fun part of creating your own reality i.e. manifesting. Whatever it is, it’s got to be great! Think about it!

Year of the Self-Existing Seed

This is the first day of the Year of the Self-Existing Seed according to the Dreamspell/Mayan calender. Funny how the timing I chose to research this in a ’seed’ year… Treepliciti… Tree… Seed… you get the idea. Each year has a question designed to open your mind to the current energies. This years’ question is “How do I manifest my dream or vision?” Again, so fitting for me, desperately forging ahead with Treepliciti any chance I get. What about you? We all have dreams and a vision of how we want ourselves and our life to be… if you don’t, you may want to ask yourself why you don’t. We are all creative beings.

I AM the awakened dreamer. Igniting my dream, thus hoping to inspire you to awaken yours. NOW is the time. But don’t worry if you aren’t ready, because the great thing about the NOW, is that it is forever NOW. You will never be too late. Time is an illusion since it is the eternal NOW. *laughs* I know it sounds a bit ‘out there’ for some, but that’s the point. Break out of the mundane mainstream and experience a world that is truly magical. Seriously, once you open your mind, anything is possible!

Day Out of Time

As I was driving today, self reflection & thoughts streamed easily once away from the house. I just remembered today is the ‘Day Out of Time’ according to the Dreamspell calender, which is based on the Mayan calender. Basically it’s an easy to learn westernized version of it. Atleast, that’s what I gather thus far. Any hoo, as I remembered this, the next thing I know I turn on the radio & Princes’ 1999 song was on…. the verse, “Party over, oops OUT OF TIME” I was like are you kidding! No Way. But I knew that’s just the Universe’s way of letting me know I’m on the right path. So as I get to my parents home to pick up my mail, I noticed that my book order had arrived… The Mayan Oracle! How fitting that it arrives today. I am so looking forward to what is opening up for ALL of us. I know the Universe is about to let us in on her great mysteries… I am so there… or here…*laughs*!

Cosmic Adjustments

Not sure what’s going on. But there are shifts taking place. The Total Solar Eclipse a few days ago, apparently a very long one, really did a number on our cosmic bodies. Accelerating our souls to new heights. Each of us is being given hints as to what is taking place in our own world. Are you paying attention? I am, atleast I am trying. To start, try to notice the numbers & colors that keep appearing in your life. These will be the easiest to recognize and will open the door for your mind to recognize the larger hints the Universe is giving you, guiding you to a more peace filled existence. For example, today I was driving my daughter to her dentist appointment, I glanced at the clock, it was 8:08 am then glanced over and noticed the trip mileage was 800.8!!! I mean, really what was the chance? There was a very small window that it could’ve occured. A definate message for me. 8’s represent financial abundance and 0 is what some call GOD’s number. Yay. A definite boost!

An Experiment with T-I-M-E…

Today I am starting to blog about how I am incorperating the 13 moon calender into my life. The 13 moon calender is not a new concept. It was used by the ancient Mayans, Druids & Egyptians. It still is used by many indigenous cultures, and also among those souls who know it resonates with the rhythem of life. Think about it. Do you really know about the calender you use? The Gregorian calender is a modification of the Julian calender that was decreed by Pope Gregory XIII on 2-24-1592. That wasn’t so long ago. If you do any research into calenders, you’ll find a confusing array of dates and changes, not to mention the confusing number of days that are in each month! I always wondered why they were split unevenly, it never felt right. Then over the past few years and a series of synchronistic occurences, the 13 moon calender made its existence known to me… This led me to various websites and introduced me to a new concepts of how I could view time. For now I am happy to get familiar with the moon phases and the energy it brings to my life. I was born during a New Moon, what phase were you born under?

Curiousity could’ve killed my cat…

In the midst of my finally moving out, the third week in June, I jumped in the car for my last trip to my parents home to send out my daily work fax. No big event… or so I thought. Drove the 3 miles, got out and sent the fax. As I approached the car to leave, I heard a faint meow. Knowing I had brought all the cats to my new home, it slowly registered that my cat was in the engine! I hurridly opened the hood, fearing what I might see. What I did see was a big, orange cat pulling himself up out of the back part of the engine, infront of the drivers block by where the a/c belt is. OMG! I realized I drove the whole way with Fuzz practically sitting in my lap! I was freaking out! Luckily, he was in one piece and not visibly hurt. Upon further review, his front paw was a tad swollen. He is so fuzzy, that it took a few days to see that he had a small burn on his chest. I didn’t worry too much because he was very active and didn’t seem bothered when I touched it. The one thing that did change is that Fuzz flat out refuses to go outside anymore! Can’t say that I blame him! He did break the A/C belt while on his ride, but I’d rather have no a/c than no Fuzz! The belt got fixed, for free, the next week… ahhh, the Universe does LOVE ME!

Upon further reflection, 3 years ago, on the 4th of July, he came home muddied and wet with a burn on his underbelly. As if he had jumped on a firecracker, then jumped in a puddle to cool it off! Do cats have karma?

A new space in a new time

Everything is happening so fast. It seems I am once again in the good graces of the Universe. My karmic debt is paid. Thank God! I’m fully living in my own space, and lots of it! I have renewed myself once again. These next few years will be a firm test of all the lessons learned, thus far. I am going to Peru at the end of August and somehow I am affording that and living on my own with 2 children… The Universe listens more than you think… and what you think is the very framework of your life. I feel like I am the Thought Police. Constantly watching and reprimanding myself (and others *laughs*) on what we are thinking and saying. This IS the evolution of mankind. Who said evolution stopped? We have to grow sometime, so I guess a galactic alignment on 12/21/2012 would be an apropos way to do it! Time Warps! Energy Healing! & Positive Thoughts! O MY!

Life, the real Chutes & Ladders (shoots & laughters)

Once again, in my magical backyard, I gaze around, thinking of our spiritual connection to this human experience we are having. I couldn’t help but notice the few pieces of the kids swing set that we tore down mid summer last year. 2 wooden ladders (one considerably larger than the other) and a plastic slide. The wooden ladders were propped up against the house and the huge green, plastic slide was in the far corner of the yard, upside down. I laughed at the thoughts that were streaming to me. Life is a game of CHUTES & LADDERS… or how I like to call it Shoots & Laughters. Think about it.

Here you are, on planet Earth (the game board) in your human vehicle (your man). Where are you going? (to the end) What are you working towards?(not being the last man on board… preferably the first!) The Chutes & Ladders represent our FREE WILL. When we make a choice that is in alignment with our souls plan and for the greater good of ALL… we are given a ladder. A cosmic pat on the back, that says good job, keep going…(Laughters!) Now, when we make a selfish, ego centered choice; we are given a chute that will a)allow us another shot & b)give us a reference point for what not to do… (Shoot!)

What I’m trying to say here is that, if you look just a little deeper to the nouns around you. Nouns(now-ns) = people, places & things… The answers to your questions are staring you in the face. Take your time; stop, look & listen; heck… stop, drop & roll if you have to! *laughs* Life is meant to be enjoyed. The veil is lifting and the life you desire is just a few positive thoughts, wise decisions & a bit more earthly time away from being manifested. The secret is… you have to believe!

Eye in the Sky

This morning as my daughter said goodbye and waltzed out the door for school, I contemplated going back to sleep for a few… a bad habit I am in the processof breaking. A few seconds later, she knocked at the door, telling me I must come see the clouds. I love my daughters, for they truely know who I am. An amazing cloud formation that looked like an eye, was awaiting me. I was so excited to see this! After a few minutes of pondering, then taking pictures, I went inside, fully awake and remembering I have a job to do… Get to work, Light Worker ! ! !
