Native to India, Flame of the Forest is a medium sized tree, growing from 20 to 4O feet high, and the trunk is usually crooked and twisted with irregular branches and rough, grey bark. Culturally, in Manipur, there is an interesting cultural use of the wood of this tree with beautiful flowers - when a member of the Meitei community dies and, for some reasons, his body cannot be be found, the wood of this tree is cremated in place of the body. |

| BOOK RECOMMENDATION ANASTASIA Book 1in the Ringing Cedars Series tells of a girl in the Russian Forest whom shares with us ways to live and activate using the natural energy we have at our disposal everyday. This book is absolutely amazing. After buying book 7 The Energy of Life in Santa Fe, purely for the cover image, I did not know the amazing journey this would take me on. After realizing I really should have bought the first one, I went out to buy it, to no avail! A large Tampa bookseller promised the series in stock by the end of July, but still nothing. Tampa hasn't been blessed with this fairly new series, so be a step ahead. On to Book 2... |
